OUR WORK  /  HOSPITALITY STUDY 01

IN-HOUSE / FICTIONAL CONCEPT STUDY 01

An appetite
for a different
experience.

A hospitality website concept exploring how expressive design and clear navigation might work together. A self-directed experiment in what people see—and the thinking that makes it work.

Concept only. A self-directed BriteGhost study, not commissioned client work.

EXERCISE, NOT COMMISSION

The idea
behind the idea.

Imagine a neighborhood food business with a strong personality but a website that doesn't show it. This hypothetical starting point asks a simple design question: how might an online presence express that character and still help people find what they need quickly?

03 / THE EXPERIENCE

HYPOTHETICAL VISITOR JOURNEY

From first look
to next action.

01 / DISCOVER

Make an entrance.

Introduce the restaurant's imagined identity and position its central offer immediately, without burying the message.

02 / EXPLORE

Make it simple.

Help a visitor reach menu information and practical details through a clear, accessible content structure.

03 / DECIDE

Make it obvious.

Give the visitor an unmistakable next step—such as viewing a menu or contacting the business—when they are ready.

What you see.
What makes it work.

Switch between presentation and planning to examine the two layers of this hypothetical concept.

HOSPITALITY CONCEPT / DESIGN RATIONALE

ART DIRECTION / CONCEPTUAL

  • DESIGN CHOICE / CONFIDENT TYPOGRAPHY
  • DESIGN CHOICE / LIMITED VISUAL PALETTE
  • DESIGN CHOICE / FOCUSED LAYOUT

PLANNING / HYPOTHETICAL

  • PROPOSED PRINCIPLE / FAST ROUTE TO MENU
  • PROPOSED PRINCIPLE / SEMANTIC PAGE STRUCTURE
  • PROPOSED PRINCIPLE / MOBILE-FIRST INFORMATION

Expression without clutter.

Large editorial type, a warm tactile palette within the fictional project, and a simple screen composition create a distinct atmosphere without relying on motion or complicated effects.

Clarity beneath the character.

The proposed layout would prioritize a short navigation, readable information architecture, responsive content, and an obvious conversion path.
